Program Overview
Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), in collaboration with the Korea Foundation (KF), organized the Indonesia-Korea Special Strategic Partnership Young Professionals Lab. The three-day program serves as a special platform for aspiring Indonesian professionals to develop a more profound knowledge of the Indonesia and Republic of Korea Special Strategic Partnership, engage with policymakers and practitioners, delve into problems and formulate policy inputs to advance Indonesia and the Republic of Korea affairs.
The twelve selected young Indonesian professionals participated in the three-day Jakarta program, consisting of panel discussions and workshops with government members, leading institutions, experts, and practitioners from Indonesia and Korea. During this program, the twelve Young Professionals also formulated and conceptualized policy recommendations covering three main sectors of Indonesia and the Republic of Korea's bilateral cooperation: socio-culture; business, trade, and investment; and political security. The program concluded with young professionals presenting the policy recommendations from each cooperation sector.
